Therapeutic Work

I support introspective work for individuals and groups, in person or online.

The focus of the work is on creating the opportunity for deep introspection, including facilitated sessions and a period of personal practice, with the intention of deepening clients’ connection with one or more of:

  • their body

  • their emotions

  • spirituality

  • nature

  • their community

Techniques utilised can involve breathwork, movement, vocalisation, mindfulness/meditation, time in nature and bodywork (in-person only).

If you’re interested in working together, we will begin by discussing:

  • your intentions for the work we’re doing together

  • the amount of time we’re committing to work together

  • the introspective tools we’ll use

Once agreed upon, we’ll begin the work. We will track the outcome of sessions against your intentions to gauge effectiveness and adapt the approach to best suit your needs.

Regular vs Intensive Work

In my experience, there are two ways this work is done most effectively.

The first is a series of regular sessions, often either weekly or fortnightly over a period of time (generally 3 weeks to a couple of months). This allows for a firm commitment to the practice, integrated into your daily life.

The second is an intensive protocol, as you would experience in a retreat setting. This is available for either groups or individuals.

Both options work, and it depends on the goals and personality of the individual.
